Bolivia (colonial), Philip III (1598?1621), silver Cob of 8 Reales, c. 1603?1612, Potosi mint, 25.04g (KM 10; Cal. 913). Very Fine, saltwater damage to the surfaces. This lot comes accompanied with the original certificate (85A?163359) and tag from Mel Fisher, also included is a booklet Coins of the Lost Galleons. Salvaged from Nuestra Senora de Atocha shipwreck, which sank on September 6th, 1622 after striking a reef in a storm near Florida Keys. It was located and salvaged in 1985 by Treasure Salvors Inc.
