"Shim'on" (in Hebrew) within wreath / Fluted jug with handle; willow branch to right; "For the Freedom of Jerusalem" (in Hebrew) around. Mildenberg 135 (O19/R95); Meshorer 283; Hendin 6545. In NGC encapsulation 6323101-002, graded Ch AU, Strike: 3/5, Surface: 3/5, overstruck.

Overstruck on a denarius of Vespasian; the entire outline of the portrait of the emperor is visible on the obverse, as well as legend fragments and outline of Pax seated in the fields of the reverse.
