Maldives 1990 / AH1411 P-17 PMG Superb Gem UNC 68 EPQ 500 Rufiyaa
Even though this is a relatively modern note for the Maldives it can truly be considered a modern rarity, especially so at this grade level, where it is tied for finest with just one other example in the PMG population report. This note represented quite a bit of money at the time of issue, and precious few were saved, especially at a time when the tourism industry in the Maldives was in its infancy. We sold the only other PMG 68 EPQ of this issue previously, so this may be the last opportunity to acquire this scarce type in this grade.
