Turkey ND (1926) / AH1341 P-120a PMG Extremely Fine 40 5 Livres
From the iconic first series of banknotes from the Turkish Republic. The series, denominated in Livres, was printed by Thomas de la Rue in England. While the series includes notes up to 1000 Livres, all denominations (this was the second after the 1 Livres) are very scarce to downright rare in better grades. This is a pleasing and problem-free example of the 5 Livres, with strong color for the type. It is free of writing, pinholes, or repairs, and overall is a very respectable example of this type.
