SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos III 'the Great'. 222-187 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 16.97 g, 12h). Susa mint. Struck circa 220-211 BC. Diademed head (type Ai) right / Apollo, testing arrow and resting hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; two monograms to outer left. SC 1209.2; ESM 381; HGC 9, 447rr. Lightly toned, scratches and marks, die wear, scrapes on reverse. VF. Extremely rare, only one in SCO (the Newell coin, which is also the only example in ESM), none in CoinArchives.
