Laureate bust left, slight drapery on right shoulder / Π Ρ ONOIA, Pronoia standing left, holding phoenix and transverse scepter; K B/ L (date) to left. Köln 1244; Dattari (Savio) 7459; K&G 32.771; RPC III 6253; Emmett 881.22. Lightly toned, small surface crack on reverse. VF. One year type (tetradrachm) for Hadrian.

Pronoia ("foresight") was an Oceanid nymph and wife of the Titan Prometheus, who was sentenced to eternal torture for stealing fire from the Olympian gods for use by humans.
