Gordian III. AD 238-244. AR Antoninianus (24mm, 4.82 g, 6h). Rome mint, 5th officina. 1st emission, AD 238. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Virtus standing left, holding spear and shield set on ground to left. RIC IV 6; RSC 381. Deep cabinet tone, some scratches under tone on obverse. Good VF.
