PLANTAGENET. Edward III. 1327-1377. AR Groat (26mm, 4.42 g, 3h). Fourth coinage, pre-treaty period, series Gb/Ga mule. London (Tower) mint; im: cross pattée. Struck 1365-1361. Crowned facing bust in tressure of arches with fleurs on cusps; top arches without fleurs / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters, additional annulet in second quarter. Lawrence 2-5; North 1194; SCBC 1570. Toned, a few marks, minor spots of roughness. Good Fine.
