Barbados Government of Barbados 2 Dollars 1.1.1936 Pick UNL Front and Back Archival Photographs PMG Choice Uncirculated 64; Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. Offered is an interesting pair of archival photographs feature King George V, who was never portrayed on any Barbados banknotes. The face side photographed proposed note is dated a mere 20 days before the King's passing, which could be why these designs were not pursued further. King George VI notes would be issued a few years later. Each uniface side is matted for rigidity. Interesting and very rare.
