Canada St. John's, NF- Union Bank of Newfoundland $10 1.5.1889 Ch.# 750-16-06 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ. A scarce issue adorned by a plethora of motifs and stunning artistry. Due to catastrophic economic conditions this bank's forty year existence was terminated in 1894. Notes from this bank continue to be redeemable by the government of Newfoundland. It is unlikely that anyone will seek to redeem this colorful example, displaying orange-yellow tints on the front and blazing orange color on the back.
