Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 2.71 g, 7 h), pseudo-Rhodian type, struck for the mercenaries of Perseus during the Third Macedonian War, uncertain mint in Central Greece, 171-168, with the name of the Rhodian mint magistrate Stasion. Head of Helios facing, turned slightly to the right. Rev. ΣTAΣIΩN / P-O Rose with bud to right; to left, bow and club. Ashton, More 20-21. HGC 6, 1453. Attractively toned and well struck. About extremely fine.
