Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves and a palmette, round earring and pearl necklace. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing to right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon; all within incuse square. Kroll 8. SNG Copenhagen 31. Lightly toned and sharply struck, with a fine, bold owl. Scattered light porosity on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
