IONIA. Miletos. Circa 294-281 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 3.59 g, 12 h), struck under the magistrate Antipatros. Laureate head of Apollo to left. Rev. ΑΝΤΙΠΑΤΡΟΣ Lion standing to left, his head turned back to right; above, six-pointed star; in the left field, monogram of ΜΙ (=Miletos). Deppert-Lippitz 165-71 (dies not recorded). SNG Copenhagen 957. Light toning, well struck, and of fine style. Nearly extremely fine.
