THRACE. Perinthus. Pseudo-autonomous issue, time of Claudius and Nero, circa 54-68. (Bronze, 14 mm, 1.23 g, 1 h). Head of Apollo to right, his hair rolled at sides and back. Rev. ΠΕΡΙΝ/ΘΙΩΝ in two lines. RPC I 1769. Schönert, Perinthos 101 (same dies). SNG Copenhagen 729 (same obverse die). Extremely rare - Schönert knew of just two specimens, and there is just one additional example on CoinArchives. A little rough, otherwise, very fine.
