Manuel I Comnenus, 1143-1180. Half Tetarteron (Copper, 17.5 mm, 2.20 g, 11 h), light standard, uncertain Greek mint, circa 1143-1152. Crowned half length bust of Manuel facing, holding labarum in right hand and globus cruciger with left. Rev. Cruciform monogram of Manuel Comnenus. DOC 22. SB 1979. Dark patina. Light porosity and partially soft strike, otherwise, very fine.
