Watch List notes:

ROMAN IMPERIAL & PROVINCIAL. 1st century. (Bronze, 40.48 g). Lot of Four (4) countermarked Roman Provincial and Imperial bronze issues. All have countermarks on the obverse, and one has an additional countermark on the reverse. An interesting study lot for understanding the reuse of older coins in areas where there was a paucity of current issues circulating. Fair to very fine. Lot sold as-is, no returns (4).
