An extremely rare Caribbean issue, and one of the first hybrid banknotes, printed on Tyvek. This Haiti series, which was the first full series printed on a polymer-substratum from the 1 Gourde to the 500 Gourdes offered here. The notes did not hold up very well in circulation, causing Tyvek to be abandoned as a source for paper money a few short years later. Despite some issues mentioned by PMG the overall appearance is still decent enough considering that this was the highest denomination of the series and virtually none were saved.
