Austria / Allied Occupation WWII 1944 P-108a PMG Gem UNC 65 EPQ 25/- Schilling
After the 1000/- Schilling the 25/- Schilling is by far the most difficult denomination to find in this series, particularly in Gem Uncirculated Condition. These circulated from May to December 1945 in Allied Occupied Austria, which like Germany, was divided into four zones. The scarcity of the 25/- Schilling can be attributed to the fact that it circulated solely in the British zone, in the south of the country. A challenging type and a piece of post-World War II history.
