Persia 4.1.1927 P-12 PMG Very Fine 20 2 Tomans
Payable at Shiraz. The Shiraz branch opened in May of 1891 and would issue notes into the 1930s. This is a nice example of this better denomination, which, even though it has spent some time in circulation, is free from nasty repairs. Some minor edge splits are seen but are almost to be expected for this grade, and are not as harsh as the grading company makes it sound. PMG mentions "Splits".
