Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Secondary series K, type 42, draped bust right, hair knotted behind, holding flower, rev. panther or beast bounding left with tightly curled tail, head reverted, branch with berries behind, 1.08g/3h (SCBI Abramson 435; Abramson 41-10; N 101; S 803A). Minor flan flaw on edge at 3 o'clock, otherwise good very fine and well struck up £600-£800
