Crowned King standing facing on ship, with sword and shield of quartered arms; EDWARD o DEI o GRA o REX o ANGL o Z o FRANC o D HYB [Edward III, by the grace of God, King of England and France, Lord of Ireland]. / E [Edward] within ornamented compartment, within floriated cross; lions passant with tiny lis by one, crowns and lisses surround; all within tressure of eight arches, with trefoils in angles; ✠ [cross] IHC o AUTEM o TRANCIENS o P o MEDIVM o ILLORVM o IBAT [But Jesus passing through their midst went on his way].

In secure plastic holder, graded NGC AU58, certification number 6377719-006. Very attractive. Neatly and well struck with considerable lustre, although with slightly worn dies.
