TANNU TUVA: 15 kopejek, 1934, KM-6, struck at the Leningrad Mint, light porosity, hairlines and tooling marks, VF. The 1934 series uses a Latin-based alphabet, which was devised in 1930 by a Tuvan Buddhist monk, Mongush Lopsang-Chinmit. He was later executed in Stalinist purges on 31 December 1941, and the Latin script was replaced by a Cyrillic-based alphabet.
