This medal was commissioned by the Spanish scholar and painter Maria Guadaloupe de Moncada y Berrio (1772-1840), who also was the first woman to gain entry to the Royal Academy of the Three Noble Arts of San Carlos in Mexico City.AE 53.6 mm.
