(980–983 AD/366-373 AH), AR Dirhem (3.05 gm; 28 mm). obverse, Shahadah followed by the name of the ruler "Mu'ayyad al-Dawla, Abu Mansur Buyeh" mint, Madinat al-Salam (Baghdad), year 354 (mistaken date as it should be 374),reverse, shahadah for prophet Mohamad, followed by name of the khalif "al-Muti'allah" followed by name of the grand ruler "Rukn al-Dawla, Abu-Ali Buyeh". Well struck on a nice full flan. Choice EF. Lightly toned. Extremely rare as Mu'ayyad al-Dawla's rule was limited to central Persia and not area that included Baghdad.
