Mysia, Pergamon, (128-123 B.C.), silver cistophoric tetradrachm, (12.61 g), obv. cista mystica containing serpent, all within ivy wreath, rev. bow in case between two coiled serpents, to left monogram of PER, above complex monogram, to right serpent entwined thyrsus, (cf.S.3948, Kleiner-Noe Hoard 3, SNG BN 1725. Lightly toned, nearly extremely fine and rare.
