Lieut A.S.Conway N.Staff. Rgt on second and third medals, ? A.S.Conway N.Staff.R on fourth, Major A.S.Conway on fifth and sixth medals. First medal unnamed, second and third engraved, last three medals impressed. Court mounted for display, nearly extremely fine.

Arthur Septimus Conway, born 10Oct1877, entered N.Staffs R in Feb 1898; Capt April 1906; WWI service from Sept 1914; WIA 1914; appointed Major 01Jan1916; KIA 17Jun1917 at Mount Sorrel, Belgium; Buried Railway Dugouts Burial Ground (Transport Farm) Belgium; His Flanders Cross resides in a Church in Burford.
