Entitled to Victory Medal 1914-19.

Together with Rising Sun hat badge, collar badge and a pair of Australia titles all in oxidised bronze (the hat badge with some oxidation); circular aluminium dog tag impressed, 'C.E.Harvey/824/D/27Batt/CE/AIF'; b&w postcard featuring C.E.Harvey in uniform and a smaller b&w photo in uniform.

Charles Harvey, cook, age 39, born at Lambert, London, England; Enl.01Dec1914 at Oaklands, Sth Aust, with previous service in 1Bn Essex-Surrey Regt of 14 years; tos 27Bn 06Apr1915; Emb.31May1915; to Gallipoli 04Sep1915; to 7Fd Amb at Gallipoli 02Dec1915 with trench feet; to hospital with frostbite feet 21Dec1915; RTA 12Apr1916 with frostbite; Disch.28Oct1916 Medically Unfit; Died 26Oct1919 and buried at West Terrace Cemetery, Adelaide, Sth Aust.
