Bertram Allan Dalzell, market gardener, age 23, born at East Burwood, Vic; Enl.14Jul1915 at Melbourne, Vic in 59Bn, with previous service of 6 weeks in Light Horse; to Cpl 16Sep1915; Emb.11Oct1915; TOS 7Bn at Tel-el-Kebir 07Jan1916; appt'd L/Cpl 02Feb1916; trf to 59Bn 24Feb1916 and reverts to Private; appt'd L/Cpl 27Mar1916; to School of Instruction at Zeitoun 11May1916; to France 18Jun1916; MIA 19Jul1916 France and following Court of Enquiry on 20Aug1917 determined to be KIA; presumed buried in No Man's Land.
