Brewery tokens, 18th century (2), monogram conceivably spelling HARRISON, revs. I dividing two rosettes, ALE: below; similar, BEERE below, fine for issue, second bent but straightened, both very rare (2)
The interpretation of the monogram on the Noble Collection example of the ALE ticket (3-4 August 1999, lot 793, part) was Johnson R.
Items from the Francis Cokayne Collection. All pieces are offered with Cokayne's coin tickets. Some of these give previous owner details, including Fletcher (mostly acquired in 1933), Yeates (1923), and 'the A.H. Baldwin private ticket collection'
