The Lawford attribution was by Cokayne; there were lime workings at Long Lawford. The pieces L and TMR, though unpublished, were allocated colliery/lime DW. references 299/190 and 189 respectively by Cokayne; he also claimed the GP and S/E.D.G. pieces as colliery tickets. It seems possible to the present cataloguer that a few of these pieces may not be of British origin.
Items from the Francis Cokayne Collection. All pieces are offered with Cokayne's coin tickets. Some of these give previous owner details, including Fletcher (mostly acquired in 1933), Yeates (1923), and 'the A.H. Baldwin private ticket collection'.

Estimate: 150 - 250 GBP
