Georgian coin scales, hand-held balance with brass pans, in rectangular wooden box, with inked name on lid, "W. Farington Esq." and gummed label, "For weighing gold coins / chiefly Portuguese / which were allowed to pass current, especially in Ireland. This box belonged to Col. Farington AD 1792", with some weights, 160 x 68 x 28mm; a second, similar, larger pans, some gramme weights, 146 x 74 x 29mm., in good order (2)
