The steamboat Le Vautour, Captain Lt. Goubin, was seized arrival in port by citizen E. Arago and the revolutionists. The Sebastiano Caboto was scuttled by her crew in 1943 at Rhodes, to avoid capture by the Germans and later sunk by British bombers.
