Timothy Tillotson Jones (1819-1897), traded under his own name as Goldsmiths and Watchmakers, in Ludgate Hill, London. Jones emigrated to Australia with his wife Bathsheba and young family The Sydney business in George Street, was established in 1853 and seems to have traded as T. T. Jones and Son, from 1877 – 1895. An early reference to the firm states, "A leading feature of the firm is the manufacture of Masonic jewels and regalia, which are turned out on the premises equal in excellence to anything to be obtained in London; in fact, it is not uncommon for the firm to receive orders from the great metropolis of the world": W.
