Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right, seen from behind vis-à-vis diademed and draped bust of Tranquillina left / Athena seated left, holding patera in extended right hand, spear in left, shield behind. Tachev, Anchialos 220-8 (O5/R56); RPC VII.2 Online 1137; AMNG 662; Varbanov 749. Red-brown patina, minor roughness. Near VF.
