The Triumvirs. Octavian. Early 40 BC. AR Denarius (20mm, 3.60 g, 1h). Military mint traveling with Octavian in Italy; Q. Salvius, moneyer. Bare head right, wearing slight beard / Winged thunderbolt. Lightly toned, bankers' marks on obverse, graffito on reverse, some scratches and minor marks. Fine.
