Gordian III. AD 238-244. AR Antoninianus (22mm, 4.20 g, 12h). Rome mint, 2nd officina. 1st emission, June-end December AD 238. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Jupiter standing left, holding thunderbolt and scepter; to left, small figure of Gordian III standing left. RIC IV 2; RSC 105. Small flan flaw on reverse. Good VF.
