Constantine I. AD 307/310-337. Æ Follis (21mm, 2.81 g, 6h). Londinium (London) mint. Struck AD 313-316. Laureate and cuirassed bust right / Constantine, in military dress, standing right, cloak spread, holding transverse spear in right hand and globe in left; S|F//PLN. RIC VII –; RML 630 (forthcoming); C&T 8.02.010. Green patina, roughness, deposits, flan split. Near VF. Very rare. RR in RML.

From the Paul DiMarzio Collection, purchased from Lee Toone (Hookmoor Ancient Coins), 24 June 2014. Ex Lee Toone Collection; Found in Shiptonthorpe, East Yorkshire (Roman Village site).

From the 4th reduction at the London mint, struck at 96 pieces to the Roman pound for a theoretical weight of 3.36 g, using dies with a beaded circle 19-20 mm in diameter.
