Laurel and rosette-diademed head right, eyes to God / Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm; SMH. RIC VII 145 var. (plain diadem); RSC 97d var. (same). Iridescent toning, extensive flan crack, a few light scratches under tone. VF. An interesting variety with an obverse type known to Nicomedia but not for Heraclea apart from this coin. Cf. RIC VII 140 (Nicomedia) and RSC 97n.
