Nicephorus III Botaniates. 1078-1081. EL Histamenon Nomisma (29mm, 4.33 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Christ Pantokrator enthroned facing / Nicephorus standing facing, wearing crown and loros, holding labarum with X on shaft and pellet at base and globus cruciger; five pellets in loros end, droplet below globus cruciger. DOC 3a; SB 1881. Lightly toned, slight double strike on reverse, some light scratches and deposits. Good VF.
