Facing bust of St. Theodore, holding spear and shield / Cross pattée with • at end of each arm. DOC 10 (Trebizond); Bendall, "The mint of Trebizond under Alexius I and the Gabrades," Numismatic Chronicle p. 126-136, Issue 10; SB –. Dark brown and earthen patina, some light cleaning scratches. Near VF. Very rare.
