An impressive, excessively rare and attractive gold medal dedicated to the Count Sergey Semenovich Uvarov, presented by Uvarov's son, beggining in 1863 and renewed in 1883. Obv.: Uniformed bust of Count Sergey Semenovich Uvarov facing slightly on the left. Rev.: Two Muses, Melpomene and Clio, between female personification of Glory, holding laurel wreath and blowing trumpet. Date in exergue.
