British Honduras 1.1.1971 P-32c PMG Gem UNC 65 EPQ 20 Dollars
A fantastic offering from British Honduras, which later in the 1970s became Belize. The 20 Dollar was the highest denomination issued, and as a type it is very scarce in any grade. Uncirculated pieces are few and far between and are very seldom offered. The example in the present lot is part of a small group of Gem Uncirculated pieces that appear from time to time on the market, although the frequency of the offerings is nowhere enough to satisfy demand. This is one of the classic Queen Elizabeth II type notes that belong in every serious collection.
