Richard II (1377-1399), First Period, Farthing, Type 1b, Tower, + RICARDV[S REX] ANGL, crowned bust facing, with neck, rev. CIVITAS LONDON, long cross and pellets, 0.21g, 8h (RSFA-005; Withers pp. 52, 1b; North 1333; Spink 1703), a small perforation at 12 o'clock, and striking flatness below bust on an elliptical flan, darkly toned, very fine, the reverse a touch better, rare.
