Henry VIII (1509-1547), First Coinage, Groat, 1509-1526, Tower, crowned bust right, rev. square-topped shield over cross fourchée, saltire stops, 2.88g, 10h, m.m. crowned portcullis [no chains in reverse mint mark] (North 1762; Spink 2316), some softness to parts of the legend, otherwise with a light cabinet tone, good very fine.
