Edward VI (1547-1553), Third Period, Fine Silver Issue, Shilling, 1551-1553, Southwark (Under-Treasurer, Sir John Yorke), crowned bust facing, dividing rose and value, rev. square-topped shield over cross fourchée, 5.77g, 7h, m.m. y (North 1937; Spink 2482), hairline scratch through the reverse and to the field left of face, some softness to the portrait, otherwise with a pleasing blue tone, a well-balanced good very fine / near very fine.
