Edward VI (1547-1553), Third Period, Fine Silver Issue, Shilling, 1551-1553, Tower, crowned bust facing, dividing rose and value, rev. square-topped shield over cross fourchée, 5.52g, 9h, m.m. tun (North 1937; Spink 2482), previously wiped and with some metal stressing to the obverse, otherwise now with a dark tone, pleasing detail to the bodice, very fine.
