Edward VI (1547-1553), Third Period, Fine Silver Issue, Shilling, 1551-1553, Tower, crowned bust facing, dividing rose and value, rev. square-topped shield over cross fourchée, 5.95g, 12h, m.m. tun (North 1937; Spink 2482), some small edge splits at 9 and 12 o'clock, largely flat to the central devices, otherwise with a pleasing iridescent tone and on a neat round flan, good fine.
