Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Second Issue, Shilling, 1560-1561, Tower, crowned bust left with pearls on bodice, rev. shield over long cross fourchée, 5.99g, 7h, m.m. cross-crosslet (North 1985; Spink 2555A), largely flat to the portrait, yet a scarce variety, fine; also, Shilling, 1560-1561, crowned bust 3C left, rev. as before, 5.89g, 8h m.m. martlet (North 1985; Spink 2555), fine; additionally, Sixth Issue, Shilling, 1590-1592, Tower, crowned bust 6B left, rev. as first, 6.05g, 3h, m.m. hand (North 1985; Spink 2577), previously cleaned, yet the reverse mint mark clear, good fine / about very fine (3).
