Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Mestrelle's Milled Issue, Sixpence, 1561, Tower [Upper House], small crowned bust right, with elaborate bodice, large rose behind, rev. square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 3.21g, 6h, m.m. star (North 2024; Spink 2593), very lightly hairline under magnification, otherwise with pleasing and uniform dark grey surfaces, good very fine.
