James I (1603-1625), Second Coinage, Shilling, 1604-1605, Tower, third crowned and cuirassed bust right, rev. square-topped shield, five strings to harp, 5.87g, 9h, m.m. lis (North 2099; Spink 2654), small flan crack to the legend at 10 o'clock, otherwise with dark grey surfaces, very fine; also, Third Coinage, Shilling, 1623-1624, sixth bust right, rev. square-topped shield, six string to harp, 5.97g, 8h, m.m. trefoil (North 2124; Spink 2668), softly struck to the bust and some rub to the reverse, otherwise pleasingly toned, very fine; Second Coinage, Penny, 1604-1605, crowned rose, rev. thistle, 0.51g, 11h, m.m lis (North 2106/1; Spink 2661), with a pleasing lustre, good very fine (3).
